Business Health Report Card
If you're not sure what you need, this is a good place to start.
I dig into three numbers that matter for every business—gross margin, cash position, and sales trend—and grade you honestly on each. Then I find one concrete thing you can do that should earn back what you paid me, quickly.
It costs $500 and takes about a week or two from first conversation to delivery.You walk away with:1) A clear-eyed view of whether your business is fundamentally healthy
2) One concrete action to take immediately—something that earns back the $500, not a vague suggestion to "improve operations"
3) 3-5 custom metrics you should be tracking based on your specific goals—the numbers that will tell you whether you're on track before it's obvious to everyone else

Project Work

Ongoing Advisory
For some clients, after we've worked together and I understand your business, it makes sense to keep talking. I review your numbers, push back when the math doesn't math, and help you think through decisions before you make them.
This isn't something I sell upfront. It's what happens when the earlier work goes well and we both want to keep going.

Coaching
Sometimes you don't need advice. You need someone to talk to who isn't an employee, isn't family, and doesn't have a stake in what you decide.
A regular call where you think out loud, I ask the questions nobody else is asking, and you stay accountable to what you said you'd do. No agenda beyond whatever's on your mind.Some clients combine this with ongoing advisory—I review the numbers and serve as a thinking partner.

About Me

I've run businesses myself. I've scaled a retail operation from 4 to 80 stores, founded a multi-location restaurant group from scratch, and built the hiring, training, and operational systems that let both grow without me in the middle of everything.What I learned across both is that the fundamentals transfer. The thing keeping you up at night probably isn't unique to your industry—it's a version of a problem I've solved before, or made myself and learned from.When I walk through your operation or look at your books, I often see things you wouldn't—not because you're missing something obvious, but because your background gave you different expertise. You might have come up as a barista, a technician, a craftsperson. You know the work deeply. I've spent my career thinking about the systems around the work—how to hire, how to train, how to price, where the margin actually goes. We're looking at the same business and seeing different things.I've been the owner lying awake running numbers in my head. I know what it's like to not have anyone to talk to who gets it.That's why I started Clarvia.
